We are committed to making our facilities, services, and experiences accessible to as many guests as possible. We believe everyone deserves to experience a holiday in nature and should have the option to choose either camping, glamping or luxe cabins.
Our goal is to provide an inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy waking up in nature with us and exploring the natural coastal beauty and seaside village feel of Tathra.
Our Accessible Property Features Include:
Level shared road and pathways throughout camp, so you can get out and about enjoying the wildlife and meeting people.
Ramp entrances to reception, our café, gathering kitchen, and select accommodation units

Accessible Bathrooms
Modern Australian-designed, spacious and functional. we have two new bathrooms in our southern shared bathroom building and two in our northern bathroom building, providing the option of choice for a grass roots camping holiday and ensuring the experience is a little more comfortable.

This Glamping option can sleep up to six guests and includes comfy beds, kitchen, natural design, luxurious ambulant bathrooms, ample floor space, ramped entrance and adjacent parking.

Fully Accessible Luxury accommodation
Black Cockatoo Easy Cabin
The perfect blend of true Australian luxury design and modern function, thoughtfully and tastefully executed in a coastal theme to blend with our natural surrounds. This cabin includes all the elements needed to create a luxury escape, whilst including all features of ease and comfort. Imagine wide doorways, ramped entrance, gorgeous accessible bathroom, full galley kitchen with roll out pantry, stone splash back and copper fittings. A large, elevated timber deck provides roll out access to a covered outdoor area for entertaining or just soaking up the sunshine. A private guest laundry takes the hard work out of holidaying. Parking is adjacent and shared pathways lead to the park grounds and facilities.

Level, padded powered sites
We have a selection of padded sites with power and water. These tend to be in areas close to bathroom and kitchen facilities and are large enough to offer free space around for added ease.

New Ensuite sites
Our uniquely designed private ensuites are built within a rainwater tank building and feature recycled timber, stone basins, walk through showers, with handheld copper fittings & reachable hooks. They are suited for those guests with ambulant mobility or who need a private space to meet their personal caravanning or camping needs

Here on wheels or bringing a bike with you and needing a quick adjustment? We can keep you rolling with bike pathways, a wash down station, and an accessible bike repair station at reception.

Enjoy scenic and accessible trails
- Tathra Wharf & Headland Walk is accessible, has whale watch platforms, views of the ocean and unspoilt coastline to the north south and east. Located only 2km from Tathra Beach Eco Camp and has parking. (don’t forget the camera)
- Want to immerse yourself in some soft foamy waves, the calm waters of Mogareeka, an adventure around the national parks or just a walk on the beach?
- *Beach Wheelchair**: Borrow from Tathra Surf Life Saving Club for a comfortable beach experience. Contact the wonderful volunteer lifeguards during patrolled times between October and April each year, for more information.

- Navigate Expeditions a nature based experience business have access to vans that are equipped with safety steps, handrails, and hoists are available for those who have difficulty with steps and can customise a nature based private experience for your needs with professional staff who can help as much or as little as needed during the experience
Accessible kids’ fun:
Tathra’s accessible playground
Approximately 500mtrs from camp on a level shared pathway you will find Tathra’s foreshore All Ability Playground.
Included is an accessible flying fox, swings, jump pads, sensory play.
Adjacent to the playground are BBQ shelters, basketball court, skate park, outdoor gym, beach track, accessible bathrooms and Tathra Tourist information walk.

Accessible transport options
Sapphire Coast Bus Lines
Low-floor buses include designated areas with folding seats for mobility aids like wheelchairs and ride-on scooters. These areas are also used for prams and strollers. However, wheelchair users and persons with limited mobility always have priority.
