Conveniently located amidst the gum trees, looking back across the wildlife reserve & coastal forrest, only a few metres from the children’s discovery playground and nature water play, they make the perfect family choice for those wanting some added luxury. We’ve thought of all the essentials and the little extras to help you unwind and relax in nature, including a separate master bedroom and Single & Double bunk beds to accommodate an additional 4 guests in their own separate bedroom. The resort styled, stone bathroom with a large double shower bring in the wow factor & a separate powder room brings a new level of comfort and luxury to Tathra Beach Eco Camp.
These cabins also come complete with a laundry and full galley kitchen including a range of sustainable state of the art appliances like the full gas stove and oven, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, flat bed microwave, slide out family pantry, waste sorting station and cupboards filled with enough crockery and cooking utensils to have your own private dinner party. These cabins blend with the outdoors and include a huge, elevated, undercover, deck and wide glass stacker doors, perfect for that relaxing experience in nature.

Black Cockatoo Easy Access
The Black Cockatoo Easy Access Cabin offers accessible luxury in nature, thoughtfully designed to provide both comfort and functionality without compromising on style. Spacious enough to sleep up to 4 guests, the cabin is set amongst the gum trees overlooking the wildlife reserve, just moments from the children’s discovery playground and nature water play, making it an ideal choice for families.
Inside, you’ll find a separate accessible master bedroom with a beautifully styled oversized bed, alongside a second bedroom with a double and single bunk plus trundle, all featuring wide doorways and generous space to move. The large, resort-style accessible bathroom includes a walk-in shower with hand-held and rain options, compliant fittings, and considered design details that elevate the experience.
The cabin also features a full accessible galley kitchen with premium appliances, including a gas stove, oven, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, and ample storage, along with an internal laundry for added convenience. Designed to blend seamlessly with the outdoors, the open-plan living area flows onto a spacious undercover deck with wide glass stacker doors, creating the perfect space to relax and unwind in nature.
*The first of our Black Cockatoo Accessible Cabins is all that we dreamed it would be. Although the elevated front verandah has a stair case, the main entry has no stairs and instead a wide ramp access and adjacent private parking. Inspections are welcome, so come and see for yourself if we can meet your accessibility and comfort needs.

Fully self contained with a full kitchen (including dishwasher, full size fridge/freezer) combined, dining & living room (including large flat screen tv), covered outdoor deck dining area, reverse cycle air conditioning. Linen & fluffy towels provided for all pre-booked guests.

KOALA ECO TENTS
Luxe glamping for families or couples.
Our gorgeous new Koala Eco Tents sleep 5 guests comfortably .Nestled amongst the gum trees of Koala Camp. The Eco tents are a great option for families or couples wanting a little more glamping luxury. We’ve thought of all the essentials and the little extras to help you unwind and relax in nature, including a super comfy, beautifully styled, oversized master bed and a set of full sized single bunk beds in their own separate glamping cubby space.
A fold out sofa in the living nook, sleeps an additional overnight guest. The Koala Eco Tents also come complete with a small kitchen, including a microwave oven, sink, fridge, toaster, kettle, electric frying pan, single induction hotplate, tea and coffee making facilities, crockery and cutlery. A ceiling fan over the master bed, a portable floor fan and zip down fly walls to let the ocean breeze through to cool the Eco Tents efficiently on those balmy summer nights. A small heater, electric blanket and warm linen are provided in the cooler months. The Koala Eco Tents include an undercover, outdoor deck area , perfect for that alfresco, nature-based, dining experience. Our Eco Tents have the added benefit of a beautiful indoor, private luxe bathroom pod, living/dining space with a view and are just a short stroll to a beach track, BBQ cabana, outdoor camp fire and all our recreation areas.

GUMNUT PODS

Nestled amongst the gum trees on the fridge of Koala Camp are our architecturally designed Glamping Pods. Built with couples in mind and a focus on comfort. Complete with soft, cosy double bed, gorgeous linen & a small reading nook.
Self contained with tea & coffee making facilities, microwave, small fridge, cutlery, crockery, a well appointed ensuite bathroom, outdoor deck & dining area. Warm in winter, cool in summer with ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning. Located close to an undercover BBQ area, kitchen garden, cultural site & just a short stroll to a communal camp fire & the beach track.

SEAGRASS SAFARI TENTS
Homely, rustic glamping with ramp access.
Now the whole family can enjoy glamping at Tathra Beach Eco Camp in our homely and relaxing Seagrass Tents! We’ve thought of all the essentials and the little extras to help you unwind and relax in nature, including a super comfy, beautifully styled, oversized master bed and a set of full sized single bunk beds with a full size single trundle bed. A seperate king single bed with a pillow top mattress, and under bed storage for that extra guest. The Seagrass Safari Tents also come complete with a seperate small but fully equipped kitchen, including a flat bed microwave oven, sink, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, electric frying pan, single induction hob, tea and coffee making facilities.
The addition of a wide board walk that leads to a luxe, private, rain water tank bathroom makes glamping in these tents so much fun. There is a roomy, undercover, outdoor deck area with easy access to the gathering kitchen BBQ’s & communal campfire space, perfect for that outdoor dining experience. We’ve thought about all guests in our construction and although not completely DDA compliant, these tents have the added benefit of a ramped entrance. The open plan interior and large deck area, makes this an easier & more comfortable accommodation option, accessible for most guests and particularly suited to families.
*We would love your family to experience glamping with us in a Seagrass Safari Tent, even with limited mobility many of our guests are enjoying their stay . BELLBIRD ECO TENTS
Romantic glamping in nature for couples.
Stay in our beautifully styled, super spacious, glamping Bellbird Tents and reset your body clock in absolute comfort. These glamping tents have been recently replaced with brand new tents in the same site that now have high ceilings, a covered balcony, rear deck and more food prep space.
All decked out with an oversized bed & quality linen. The Bellbird Tents are the perfect couples glamping option and even large enough to have room for a single daybed for a child. These beautiful bell tents include a heater, fan, bar fridge, small outdoor gas stove & tea and coffee making facilities. Located adjacent to the kangaroo resting zone & wildlife reserve. Just a few meters stroll to the guest bathroom & campfire area.

Brew a morning coffee with the fresh breeze on your face with your own mini deck and breathtaking bush view. We’ve thought of all the essentials to help you relax in nature. The Driftwood Tents are the perfect couples glamping choice and include a beautifully styled, oversized bed made up with gorgeous, crisp, quality linen. The Driftwood Tents are small in size but big in comfort and come complete with a heater, fan, bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, tea and coffee making facilities. and outdoor gas cooker. Just a hop, skip & jump to the guest bathroom, firepit area & kangaroo resting zone. A short stroll away to the sands of Tathra’s unspoilt beach.

Our Ensuites are located at the rear of spacious powered sites with double pads and are suitable for caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers or roof top tents. These private bathrooms, are built within the structure of beautiful rain water tank building and include large, hot, rain showers, stone basins, toilets, vanities and private landings.
They are located close to Kookaburra Camp and within an easy walk to our guest laundries, BBQ cabanas, dump point, communal fire pits, our state of the art camp kitchen and all the camp facilities.
