After being ravaged by fire in the 2018 Tathra bushfires the park is undergoing a careful period of rejuvenation and rebuilding. Tathra Beach Eco Camp has been lovingly and painstakingly brought back from disaster to offer guests a uniquely natural and immersive quality stay. We offer large open green spaces, dedicated nature areas (like our kitchen garden & chicken run), and truly welcoming and stylishly designed, unique accommodation options for all types of travellers. Surrounded by national parks and directly opposite a pristine beach, Tathra Beach Eco Camp provides both opportunity for guests to unwind in natural surrounds, but also immerse themselves in a range of outdoor, nature based, adventure activities. Whether it’s our cultural area, bush tucker garden, or our dedicated kangaroo resting zone, we respect our environment and encourage our guests to enjoy it! Join us on our journey of growth and revival as we build a new future for our park.

In the early stages of our custodianship during the bushfire clean-up operation, Aboriginal artifacts were discovered, inviting us into a careful history study. What emerged was a profound realisation of the living, enduring cultural connections the Djiringanj people and the broader Yuin Nation share with the and waters that cradle this coast. This understanding sparked a genuine commitment to truth-telling, respect for country, and meaningful partnership with local first nations community – a commitment that continues to deepen as we listen, learn and contribute.

We are committed to making our facilities, services, and experiences accessible to as many guests as possible. We believe everyone deserves to experience a holiday in nature and should have the option to choose either camping, glamping or luxe cabins.
